Just Wed!

As you read this, Mr. EEE and I -no longer a Mam'selle - are making our way to the tropical shores of love, Kauai.

Macadamia nuts, otherworldly sunsets and a future with a most wonderful man await. But I'll be checking in sporadically - we have china patterns to discuss!

Congratulations, Emily! Enjoy your trip to Hawaii. It'll be wonderful to escape the gloom and cold of the East Coast. I so enjoy your blog postings so hurry back soon.

  4. Congratulations to you Emily!!! Or should I say best wishes? Anyway, I could say that you're lucky (and you are!), but I think Mr. EEE is awfully lucky as well. Have fun in Hawaii and make sure to wear that sunscreen. :)

  23. DEAR EMILY-

    Wonderful news, fabulous.

I was fortunate to meet your dashing and handsome and amazing husband at the antiques show in San Francisco last fall--and he is clearly smitten and adores you so.
    I could not be happier!
    Kauai:
Be sure to go hiking on the Napali Cliffs (leave early to be sure you get back before dark)--and take snacks (like sandwiches or pastries (!) plus drinks from the bakery in Kilauea (or any bakery or snack shop in Hanalei)...climbing the cliffs and enjoying the amazing views takes energy. Very fabulous.
Waimea Canyon is also fantastic if the day is clear.
    Happy days, DIANE

  24. Emily,

I doubt that I've read a more enchanting post. A story with a handsome prince ending. One of the best times of my life was spent on that glorious island so I know you are ensconced in the happiest of places. My sincerest wishes to you both for a bright and blissful future.
