Tufting, leopard print, sky blue, and lots of trim.... a small gesture in a small New York city apartment....

Quite delightful!
Isn't her auction catalogue beyond divine?

I refer to it often!

Yummy. Is this your small gesture? Quite splendid. Adore it all. So funny about leopard, that the sum in greater than the parts. Each color on its own is quite classic, but together.....PURRRRRFIC!

EEE: I adore it - and what a book tease you are with the glimpse of your bookshelf . . .KDM

Gaye, actually this is Monsieur's perch. It's the only "comfortable" chair in the apartment - so he says. I wasn't thinking when I chose the Duchess blue taffeta for the bolster as who knows how long it will stay unbesmirched by his greasy mitts. Fred Astaire also enjoys reclining on it, so Home, it really is purrfect! And I'll see what I can come up with re: Uncle Mame who has asked me to call him the Old Roué...

KDM - so you're one of those who get out the magnifying glass to check out the spines! good thing all my self-help books are tucked away! :)

Blue and brown, a wonderful combination. Can you show us a close up of the trim.

Adorable! Funny how animals know the best seats in the house and usually ones that shows off their beauty best. Also, sadly true, about the men we love who are mostly non compus mentis about greasy hands and upholstered etc. etc. etc. My husband, the much adored son, at age 12 sat his sunburned and just lathered with vaseline body down on his mother's newly upholstered in crewel embroidery linen wing chairs. I'm talking delivered that morning. She called the company back and had them hauled them away. They returned newly dressed in a black with floral tapestry that she said would wear like cast iron. She was right. They are sitting in my living room right now in the same outfit! Thanks for sharing your lovelies, and the MC tribute too!
