Gaye, there is something very comforting in revisiting books from one's childhood - and, with older eyes, gaining a new appreciation of them.

Now, for those of you who also loved The Lonely Doll series about Edith and Little and Big Bear, the biography by Jean Nathan of its creator Dare Wright is a tragic and strictly adult tale...
