Blowing out a Candle: EEE turns 1

And what a year it has been.

When I first started my blog 365 days ago, little did I know how my world would expand and explode.

Your wise and wonderful comments, suggestions and - yes - corrections have opened my eyes and deepened my understanding of style and design -sure - but also of how much more rich and fun something is when you share it.

The celebration lasts all week as a few of the design blogosphere's most illustrious commenters (who constantly occasion everyone to ask, "When are they going to get their own blog?") have agreed to dazzle us with their wit and wisdom here. PLUS a feature presentation on the most searched term on the blog. (A free copy of Regency Redux to the first person who guesses who it is.) Meanwhile I'll be eating cake.

Stay tuned for some delicious guest appearances...

Amazing, isn't it, how our lives evolve. I started my business about a year ago never thinking it would become such a passion and a joy. Congratulations to you, Emily, and here's to an even more amazing new year! Jeanne (aka Sophie Dahy)

Congratulations, Emily. Yours is a most readable, witty and chic blog, one that I enjoy regularly. One year old! Wow! Love the photo.

I would have guessed Albert Hadley too. On my blog, the most searched for person is Aerin Lauder! Happy Anniversary!

it must be the younger hadley-apropos of xmas- Mr Redd. that is my last guess as the next Hint will be the name- that would not look good, as I consider myself very sleuthy-or I once did so. g

...a year! And now it is hard to imagine life without EEE. Here's wishing you many more!

Emily Evans Eerdmans said...

Oh Mr Worthington, you made me chuckle. Seriously, who knew Valerian Rybar would turn out to be a leit motif? He weighs in at #53.

Emily Evans Eerdmans said...

Nor is it Aesthete or Mr. Worthington - I'll throw you another clue. He is not a blogger or commenter.

Emily, I missed EEE's birthday but better late than never. Having been given Regency Redux for Christmas last year I am constantly amazed and delighted that we can have more, more, more of you here FREE! I can only agree with everyone above how
wonderful you and your blog are. Love, Rosie
